Barkley claims his 16th National Title! The surface at Mission Raceway Park was less than optimal but that didn't stop Ethan from claiming #1 qualifier on Saturday (7.43 /188) and a runner -up finish on Sunday. Winning streak continues at Badlands Nationals! Ethan Barkley continued his winning was at the MHDRA Stip in Medicine Hat for the Badlands Nationals. The surface was very tricky and the intense heat made for less than stellar times but a win is a win. Barkley breaks records in Edmonton! The third stop on the CMDRA NAtional Series was the OIl CIty Nationals at CAstrol Raceway. the one day event proved cahllenging but Ethan wasted no time and ran multiple 7.2's at 190+ mph. Event win and new career best! Ethan updated his 500 HP turbocharged GSX-R1000 "Eleanor" withe some new compnents and slapped on a DOT street tire in an effor to make history at the CMDRA's Summer Nationals. He did just that by taking the win along with posting a 1.17 60' time and a 4.79 1/8th Mile E.T. He managed this while using a very conserivtave chassis setup and boost levels. Barkley sees red at Season Opener! After a long 8 months off, Ethan Barkley was back on "Eleanor" at the CMDRA Spring Nationals. The team had high hopes of setting records but the high heat would make for a less than optimal surface. Even though Ethan finished runner-up due to an uncharacteristic red light in round 1 of eliminations; it proved to be a valuable weekend by posting a string of 7.4 /190+ MPH passes.
