A perfect season comes to an end.

Ethan Barkley came into the final event of the 2012 CMDRA season with the Championship in hand, but he still wanted to end on a high. Looking for the perfect season and always pushing the limits of his bike, Ethan came out of the gate swinging. Click the picture for a full review of the weekend.

Barkley pushes into the 7.50's

Mission Raceway played host to the CMDRA Summer Nationals Aug 18-19th. The racing surface was in excellent condition and allowed Ethan to finally turn up the boost on "Eleanor" in the early stages of his 1/4 mile runs. The result had Ethan post the quickest passes in Pro Street the CMDRA has ever seen! Click the picture for a full review of the weekend.

Barkley turns up the power in "The Hat"

The CMDRA's next stop was the Badlands Nationals held in Medicine Hat AB. The extreme temperatures didn't stop Barkley from turning up the heat even more in the Pro Street Class. Barkley qualified #1 with a 7.67 and top mph of 187. On Sunday he cruised to victory with a 7.64 which was low ET for the event. Click the photo for the full release.

Strugis North Nitro Nationals

The second event for team EB Speed was the Sutrgis North Nitro Nationals in Ashcroft B.C. The racing surface was less than optimal but that didn't stop Ethan from taking top spot in the Pro Street qualifying and taking the win. Click the photo to read more and to see some great photo's.

Ethan Barkley brought his Pro Street Turbocharged GSX-R1000 "Eleanor" down to Melrose Cafe for some summer fun during their annual motorcycle show and shine.

CMDRA event cut short due to rain

Team EB Speed rider Ethan Barkley decended on Castrol Raceway for the first event of the 2012 CMDRA season. After a long season away from the track, hopes were high for quick passes. Unfortunately the event was rained out just after the Ethan made his second qualifying pass on Saturday morning. Click the image for a full write up and photos from the event.

Pre-Season testing boasts solid numbers

Ethan did some pre-season testing at Castrol Raceway near Edmonton Ab. May 26-27th. Running low boost to get things sorted out on Eleanor after a long winter produced consistent runs in the 8.0's @ 174 mph. Ethan is looking forward to turning the boost up and posting 7's at the CMDRA event in 2 weeks.

Barkley makes it a dozen

The biggest drag bike field of the year descended on Castrol Raceway for the CMDRA’s season finale September 10-11th. . Like many racers, Ethan had his sights set on winning not only the event but more importantly the coveted #1 plate in both Street and the Pro Street classes....
