Barkley to compete at the Summer Nationals at Santa Pod Raceway, England!

Ethan Barkley is always looking for any way to satisfy his need for speed. This summer he's taking it one notch higher when he travels across the Atlantic to compete in the Summer Nationals at Santa Pod Raceway U.K. June 28-29th. He will race in the Super Street class which is very similar to Pro Street here in North America. The racing is sure to be very intese as sixteen of the top Super Street racers in Europe will be in attendence.

Since Ethan's Pro Street GSX-R1000 "Eleanor" won't be making the trip overseas, he had to rely on his loyal EB Speed customers to help him get some passes on the hallowed surface of Santa Pod. Ethan will arrive in the U.K. a week early to get aquanted with the track during the Santa Pod "Retro Show" event June 22nd, while riding and tuning the EB Speed Turbo GSX-R1000 of Sam Sykes. He and Ethan have worked together for the last couple of years developing Sam's GSX-R program in England. At the end of last season, Sam posted a 7.98 making him the quickest 1000 in Europe.

At the Summer Nationals event, Ethan will be riding Rudolfo Maduro’s Turbo GSX-R1000. Based in the Netherlands, Rudolfo is coming off a career best performance at the end of the 2013 season, where he posted a 7.99 E.T. Without a doubt, Ethan’s experience tuning and racing turbo GSX-Rs has the potential to improve on the performance of both bikes, and he is looking forward to the challenge.
